Add a Project to MAPA’s African Conservation layer

Add your conservation work to Google Earth

The MAPA Project aims to tell the story of conservation in Africa, pinning information portals on protected areas and actions to the most widely used geographical pin-board available: Google Earth. This layer exists purely as resource to conservation, and it will only do the story of conservation in Africa justice if conservationists utilize it.

We have built a tool which you can use to build information bubbles that illustrate your work on Google Earth. You may choose to add a single paragraph and picture, or you may choose to build a bubble (like the one below) with videos, wildlife, blogs and even material created in Google Earth, like Google Earth tours.

On this page you can find out how to create your own project bubble.
